Thank you to everyone who packed the room at SCAL Construction Hub for our session on “Breaking Silos in Construction: Integrating Safety, Operations, and Progress Tracking into One AI Ecosystem” at the SCAL EHS Week 2026 Workshop. 🏗️

Our Co-Founder & COO, Hugo Cheuk, walked contractors and safety professionals through how agentic AI changes the way sites are run, bringing safety, operations, and progress tracking into one connected ecosystem. 🤖

A few things the room dug into:

🔹 How viAct’s AIoT ecosystem senses and acts on site conditions in real time, across vehicle gates, confined spaces, access control, and fire detection.
🔹 Where agents fit on top of AI CCTV and AIoT, completing the loop rather than replacing what’s already on site.
🔹 What it takes for firms already working with computer vision and LLMs to put agents to work without breaking their data pipelines.
